It’s a springless mattress made of three layers of polyurethane foam. Mattresses like this are often called orthopedic: the dense base and springy support layer keep your back straight, while the memory foam top relieves pressure on shoulders and hips. The firmness and foam are matched to your weight and sleeping position.
The top layer is made of viscoelastic foam. Under body heat and weight it slowly takes the shape of your body, then just as slowly recovers. Press the 3D model to see how it works.
